Over the past 40 years of foundation and development, Khanh Hoa Children’s House has much improved its operation quality, becoming a perfect and reliable place for kids to have fun, explore and develop their skills.
Khanh Hoa Children’s House, committed to the discovery and promotion of talents, has taken good advantage of existing infrastructures available to open classes on 30 sporting, musical, dramatic, artistic subjects, including vocals, ballet, folk dance, modern dance; playing the piano, organ, guitar, mandolin; puppetry; playing traditional musical instrument, drawing, master of ceremonies, aerobics, martial arts, chess, football, basketball, table tennis, badminton, swimming, informatics, English, handwriting, etc.
Every weekend and weekday evening, Khanh Hoa’s Children House is crowded with kids attending a wide variety of classes, especially marital art, playing music and zumba dancing. According to Nguyen Le Tran, Head of the Training Department, the demand for artistic classes is on the increase. At present, 41 teachers are in charge of artistic classes at Khanh Hoa Children’s House. Over the past 40 years, Khanh Hoa Children’s House has held 135 courses, 115 classes each, drawing the participation of more than 240,000 children.

In addition, Khanh Hoa Children’s House has founded several clubs to meet a variety of interest, pursuits and abilities such as art, drawing, aerobics, marital art, basket ball, chess, English language, etc with the participation of more than 300 kids.
Nguyen Phuong Doanh, Director of Khanh Hoa Children’s House says apart from regular activities, Khanh Hoa Children’s House has also focused on seeking donations to help disadvantaged kids through such events as lunar New Year, Moon Festival and annual musical show for the disabled thanks to more than VND1 billion funding raised every year. Moreover, Khanh Hoa Children’s House has been committed to improving care for children in remote areas through various activities, including musical show, physical games, folk games; books, notebooks and clothes offered to the needy. Over the past 40 years, Khanh Hoa Children’s House has held more than 80 activities for disadvantaged children, drawing 60.000 kid arrivals.
Khanh Hoa Children’s House has effectively taken advantage of the existing infrastructures to organize various entertaining activities for kids, organized creative physical games, folk games, intellectual games, quizzes, crafts, etc. besides, Khanh Hoa Children’s House has jointly provided outdoor games with a bouncy ball house, mini electric track trains, roller coasters, etc.
Thanks to the constant effort over the past 40 years, Khanh Hoa Children’s House has won more than 100 gold medals, 180 silver medals and over 200 bronze medals in contests at municipal, provincial and national levels. “In the time to come, we will continue innovating and expanding activities to improve training courses; and developing various amusement activities for kids,” says Nguyen Phuong Doanh.
Over the part 40 years, Khanh Hoa Children’s House has been awarded the 3rd-class labor medal (in 1998); a certificate of merit by the Prime Minister for outstanding achievements during the 10-year national renovation process (in 2000); 2nd class labor medal (in 2003); Since 2003, Khanh Hoa Children’s House has been successively awarded flags for excellence in operation; and certificates of merit by the Central Youth Union from 2014 to 2017, etc.
