Children’s Houses in Khanh Hoa Province has organized various talent classes and entertaining activities for kids, assuring rewarding and enjoyable 3-month summer experience.
This summer, Cam Lam District Children’s House opened 17 talent classes for nearly 1,300 kids. Cam Lam District Children’s House has partnered with Cam Hoa Primary School and Suoi Tan Primary School to organize talent classes in neighboring areas to teach kids in far- away places, says Nguyen Thi Hanh, Director of Cam Lam District Children’s House.
Khanh Vinh District Children’s House has opened 5 classes on martial arts, dancing, handwriting, etc for over 170 kids, 80% of whom are ethnic minority children. “We have provided opportunities for children to join a wide variety of activities to keep them entertained, explore and develop their skills,” says Tran Xuan Tra, Director of Khanh Vinh District Children’s House.
This year, Khanh Hoa Children’s House has opened 2 additional classes on Aikido and Zumba dance apart from classes on drawing, dancing, sport, martial art, life skills, bringing summer classes to 100 with more than 3,000 participants. Khanh Hoa Children’s House has become a great place for kids to meet, have fun, share their interests and promote creativeness.
“Besides learning to dance, my kid has an opportunity to meet friends and have fun together; becomes more confident, active and excited in groups and team activities. We are so delighted,” says Tran Thu Phuong, the mother of Huynh Ha Nhi who has learned dancing at Khanh Hoa Children’s House.
Apart from talent classes, other entertainment and child care activities have been well developed. Children’s Houses have organized various activities towards children such as offering 200 gifts to poor kids at 8 primary schools (Cam Ranh City Children), 500 gifts to disadvantaged kids on the International Children’s Day on June 1 and Action Month for Children (Dien Khanh District Children’s House), etc. Disadvantaged and disabled children and social welfare beneficiaries have benefited from school fee exemption and discount when parting part in activities at Children’s Houses.
This summer, Children’s Houses in Khanh Hoa Province has organized entertaining activities and opened 205 talent classes have for more than 6,600 children. Apart from annual activities, training on injury and accident prevention and control has been provided for kids. Great effort has been made to overcome difficulties to meet children’s interest, development and learning needs despite insufficient infrastructure facilities, according to Truong Tan Hung, Vice-Secretary of the Khanh Hoa Youth Association, Chairman of Khanh Hoa Comrade Associate.
Children’s Houses in Khanh Hoa Province have become great destinations for children to have fun and learn to develop skills during the summer holiday.
