70 bikes, 5 insurance contracts offered to poor students

Vietnam Children’s Fund in association with Khanh Hoa Department of Labor, War Invalids & Social Affairs and AIA Life Insurance Vietnam Company (AIA Vietnam) held a "life journey" program 2018 on September 19. Present at the event was Deputy Minister of Education and Training Nguyen Thi Nghia together with leaders of relevant departments and agencies.
 
Vietnam Children’s Fund and AIA Vietnam donated 70 bikes, 5 insurance contracts worth VND20 million each and gifts to disadvantaged students in Khanh Hoa. The charity work was worth VND250 million.

Poor students receive bikes and insurance contracts.
 
Reportedly, since 2014, Vietnam Children’s Fund and AIA Vietnam have donated more than 7,000 bikes to poor students nationwide. In 2018 alone, 3,000 bikes and 100 life insurance contracts are expected to be offered to the needy. This is the third year AIA Vietnam has sponsored insurance contracts totaling over VND5 billion.
 
On this occasion, Khanh Hoa People’s Committee awarded certificates of merit to 2 organizations with considerable support for poor children in Khanh Hoa Province.
