On September 11, Nguyen Tan Tuan, Permanent Deputy Secretary of Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People’s Council, Head of the Steering Board of the Campaign “Each organization and individual cares for one humanitarian address” presided a working session with member units about the preparation for the charity program “Joining merciful hands”.
Present at the event were Tran Ngoc Thanh, Chairman of Khanh Hoa Provincial Fatherland Front Committee; Nguyen Dac Tai, Vice-Chairman of Khanh Hoa Provincial People’s Committee; and leaders of local departments and agencies.
According to Khanh Hoa Red Cross, the program has received more than VND600 million in donation. Khanh Hoa Red Cross has cooperated with Khanh Hoa Salanganes Nest Company, Khanh Hoa Radio & Television Station and Nha Trang Dream Theatre to prepare for a musical show, stage lighting, sound, techniques, etc. The charity program is scheduled to take place on September 28 and televised live on KTV.
Khanh Hoa Salanganes Nest Company is the main sponsor of the program. Organizations and individuals who have donated VND50 million or more will be honored with certificates of recognition and grants will be offered to some people in distress at the event.
