On September 5, along with all schools in Khanh Hoa Province, Le Quy Don Gifted School, Nha Trang City, held a ceremony to open the 2018- 2019 school year. Present at the event was Nguyen Tan Tuan, Permanent Deputy Secretary of Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People’s Council.
In the school year 2018-2019, the school has 331 newcomers, including 251 tenth-graders, 40 eighth-graders and 40 ninth-graders, bringing the total number of students to nearly 800. The school is expected to move to a new location in Phuoc Dong Commune, Nha Trang City in late 2018. On this occasion, Sacombank Khanh Hoa Branch offered 10 scholarships worth VND1 million each and VietinBank, Khanh Hoa Branch awarded 20 scholarships worth VND500,000 each to needy students.
