New school year ceremony at Nguyen Trai High School

Nguyen Trai High School, Ninh Hoa Town, held a ceremony to start the new school year 2018-2019 on September 5. Present at the event was Le Xuan Than, Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Khanh Hoa Province, Vice-Chairman of the Provincial People’s Council.

 

The school has continued maintaining its high school education leading quality in Khanh Hoa. Last academic year, 43 students won the Provincial Excellent Student Contest. The promotion and graduation rate reached 100%. 37 students achieved high scores in the university entrance exam and received certificates of merit by Khanh Hoa People’s Committee and Khanh Hoa Department of Education & Training. 6 students were exempted from the university entrance examination. The university admission rate in the first phase was 83%, ranking second in Khanh Hoa.

 

 

 

In the new school year 2018-2019, Nguyen Trai High School has 42 classes with 1,625 students, including nearly 600 tenth-graders. At the new school year ceremony, the Former Students’ Association offered 19 scholarships worth VND1 million each to disadvantaged students. Earlier, the association had awarded 3 scholarships worth VND5 million each to the severely disadvantaged.
