Vietnam Union of Friendship Organizations in partnership with Khanh Hoa Union of Friendship Organizations held a workshop in Nha Trang on September 11 to seek and share experience in the task on people-to-people relations and foreign non-governmental organizations in the current times. Present at the event was Nguyen Tan Tuan, Permanent Deputy Secretary of Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People’s Council.
Friendship organizations have gained satisfactory achievements in activities on people-to-people relations and enhanced bilateral and multilateral relations with foreign partners. Since 2013, the Union of Friendship Organizations has welcomed 4,650 missions from many counties all over the world, held some 3,000 foreign relation activities, meetings and working sessions with international partners; established and boosted the relationship with over 1,000 national, regional and international organizations.

At the workshop, representatives of Unions of Friendship Organizations from 25 cities and provinces in the Southern region discussed and exchanged methods to innovate and strengthen people-to-people relation activities, overcome challenges, develop partner networks and promote the capacity of experienced experts, etc.
