Student development campaigns in Khanh Hoa Province have achieved satisfactory results with a wide variety of practical activities for students.
Various practical activities
The Students’ Association of Nha Trang National College of Pedagogy is one of outstanding units in the campaign. Every year, its Students’ Association holds 4 blood donation drives and green summer campaigns. Students become eager and enthusiastic join effort to help the disadvantaged in mountainous areas.
The Students’ Association of Nha Trang National College of Pedagogy has organized many activities to motivate the participation of students in students’ development campaigns such as the 5-virtue student campaign to assure traffic safety, maintain civilized dorm life, promote activities of the singing club, improve youth skills, life skills, etc.

Every year, more than 20 students are recognized as Five-Virtue Students at school level and 2-3 at provincial level; in 2015 – 2016, 1 outstanding student won the National January Star award, according to Thai Van Tai, Chairman of the Students’ Association of Nha Trang National College of Pedagogy.
Truong Tan Hung, Chairman of Khanh Hoa Students' Association says students’ activities, namely Khanh Hoa Students' Journey towards Home Country Sea and Islands; gratitude activities, etc. Over the past 5 years, Khanh Hoa has founded 43 green summer volunteer groups with more than 2,150 student participants. The onsite volunteer activities include setting up the vanguard to join propaganda and patrols to ensure order and security, traffic safety in places where there are many student lodgings; blood donation and blood bank registration, etc.
The remarkable activity is the five-virtue student campaign launched by Vietnam Students’ Association to motivate student development in 5 aspects, namely ethics, academic accomplishment, physical fitness, skills and integration. There have been 4 five-virtue students at national level, 92 at provincial level and 44 five-virtue students’ groups at provincial level so far.
Support for student learning and development
Truong Tan Hung says the association has launched and organized many activities to provide opportunities for students to promote ethical qualities and practice skills. There are 18 clubs and sports teams under the students’ association with 10,105 members. The propaganda channel of the students’ association at all levels on the social network is to update information and knowledge for students. Over the past 5 years, 100% of the members have been Youth Union members. 1,148 excellent members have been admitted to the Vietnam Communalist Party membership. Other criteria have also been satisfied.
In the time to come, Khanh Hoa Students’ Association will enhance staff training in professional competence and experience to better discover and meet the needs of students the new times. In 2018 – 2023 period, Khanh Hoa Students’ Association strives to meet higher targets with 700 scholarships offered to disadvantaged students, 5 students recognized as national 5-virtue students, 100 recognized as provincial “5-virtue students”. Besides, The Student Support Center will be founded under the Khanh Hoa Students’ Association to boost student all-round development.
