Smart camera system project

On November 8, Nha Trang City People’s Committee made a project on building a smart camera system in Nha Trang City till 2025.

 

The smart camera system is mainly to monitor traffic by collecting real-time traffic data that are used in dealing with traffic law violation, reducing congestion, accidents; and improving security. The city leader required the consulting unit to do a survey in relevant agencies and localities to suggest overall suitable measures to use data extracted from the camera system in many sectors.

 

Nha Trang City Public Security is managing the public security camera system with 12 cameras on main streets; 22 cameras on some other streets and 30 traffic camera. Besides, there are also camera systems in some wards and communes.
