Assuring order and security during New Year Day

Khanh Hoa Border Defense Force Headquarters have enhanced their operation in cooperation with local authorities to maintain order and security during New Year Day, especially in remote areas and high-risk locations.

 

Van Ninh District, adjacent to Phu Yen Province, with Van Phong Northern region, is appealing to many big domestic and foreign companies and corporations. Dam Mon Border Defense Station in cooperation with local authorities has boosted measures to assure political security and social order in the locality, especially during national holidays. The unit has maintained a mobile police squad ready to handle any emergencies at sea. Mission groups have been sent to localities to raise public awareness of and vigilance against sabotage plots and tactics of hostile forces; and timely handle violation, contributing to maintaining political security, social order and safety in the border area, says Captain Nguyen Thanh Trung, Vice-Chief of Dam Mon Border Defense Station.

 

 

 

Khanh Hoa Border Defense Force affiliations have built plans to maintain patrols and anticipate situations for proactive and prompt response during the New Year Day; simultaneously coordinated with the Party Committee and the local authorities to strengthen the control of situations at border checkpoints; kept  controls of people and goods entering and leaving sea border areas; boosted armed patrols to protect sea and island boundaries; deployed measures to cope with possible crime and violence to protect the national security and maintain social order and safety.

 

Senior Lieutenant Colonel Tran Quoc Toan, Chief of Khanh Hoa Border Defense Force Headquarters says the Party Committee has focused on directing its affiliations to enhance sea and land patrols, proactively implemented border tasks, promoted law propaganda for officials and residents in border areas; launched a concentrated crime prevention and control drive to protect political security and social order in border areas, especially during the New Year’s Holiday.

 

Besides, Khanh Hoa Border Defense Force Headquarters have built a plan to assure political security and social order during the upcoming Lunar New Year 2019; taken crime prevention initiatives; boosted inspection in high-risk places to tighten the control of weapons, firecrackers, explosive materials and illegal exploitation of natural resources in an effort to keep border areas under surveillance, safe and secure during the festive season.
