Nha Trang University (NTU) and National Taiwan Ocean University (NTOU) held the joint international Vietnam – Taiwan conference on advanced marine aquaculture on December 11.
More than 170 representatives from universities at home and abroad, local businesses, sponsors, departments and agencies attended the event.

The conference aims to present the latest technologies on aquaculture to fisherman communities, scientists, businessman and policy makers; evaluate the current status, potentials and strategic plan of developing advanced marine aquaculture technology of Vietnam and Taiwan; enhance the exchange of scientific information on advanced marine aquaculture technology between Vietnamese and Taiwanese scholars; boost research cooperation, investment and technological transfer.
The biennial conference was under the cooperative framework agreement between the two universities.
