On December 7, the Pacific Ocean University (POU) in association with Huyndai Vinashin Shipyard and Hyangsan Scholarship Foundation of Vietnamese residents in South Korea held a ceremony to offer scholarships to students of Korean studies.
16 scholarships worth VND4 million each were offered to good students of the course 2017. Six scholarships were from Huyndai Vinashin Shipyard and 6 from Hyangsan Scholarship Foundation.

The event aimed to encourage students to try their best in learning as well as show the link and support in training from Korean communities and enterprises for the university.
