Khanh Hoa People’s Committee has given suggestions to the Ministry of Planning & Investment to be submitted to the Minister on the allocation of central budget to support the province to invest in emergency natural disaster preparedness projects, which include emergency evacuation and anti-landslide embankments. Total budget is expected to be more than VND761 billion, including 680 billion from the central budget and the rest from the local budget from now till 2025.
The typhoons Damrey, Toraji and Usagi caused massive damage to Khanh Hoa Province. Khanh Hoa People’s Committee has spent VND794 billion on emergency disaster recovery but the needs have not sufficiently met.
