Khanh Hoa People’s Committee has just had a document to assign Khanh Hoa Department of Commerce & Industry to preside over and cooperate with local departments and agencies to organize activities in response to the Earth Hour 2019.
Earlier, the Ministry of Commerce & Industry had requested the People’s Committees of centrally governed districts and cities to launch Earth Hour propaganda in March 2019 and encourage individuals, households and businesses to turn off their non-essential lights for one hour, from 20:30 to 21:30 on March 30.
The event aims to raise public awareness of environmental protection and energy saving.
