The 2019 tree–planting campaign in memory of Uncle Ho was launched at Am Chua Vestige, Dien Khanh District on February 11. Present at the event was Le Duc Vinh, Deputy Secretary of Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee, Provincial People’s Committee Chairman.
At the ceremony, leaders of Dien Khanh District People’s Committee called all local agencies and people to join hands to plant and protect trees in order to preserve the environment and mitigate climate change impacts. Over the past years, the tree–planting campaign has been widespread among local agencies, organizations and residents. The forest management and protection has been strengthened.
The launching ceremony was followed by the cultivation of 100 trees, including Aquilaria, Dalbergia tonkinensis and white sandalwood, at Am Chua Vestige.
