Van Ninh Coach Station used to be located in Van Gia Town. In 2016, the location was transferred to Quyet Thang Nha Trang Company to build a trade center to meet the local shopping needs. Van Ninh Coach Station was planned to be located in Van Binh Commune. There are about 40 coaches, including 20 buses, in Van Ninh District.

In 2016, Khanh Hoa Transport Service Company was licensed to invest in Van Ninh Coach Station designed to be located in Van Binh Commune with an area of 2.2ha and the total capital of VND29 billion. The rebuilt coach station is of the second-class coach regulated by the Ministry of Transport as a multi-functional construction with sufficient facilities for large-scale passenger transportation such as parking lots, waiting rooms, pick-up or drop-off location, offices, a medical office, etc meeting the future development strategy.
Nguyen Ly Minh Quan, Vice-Director of Khanh Hoa Transport Service Company says the project scheduled to begin in the 2nd quarter and finish in 2016 has been postponed due to some obstacles. The project has just been redeveloped with investment procedures.
The total capital originally expected to be VND29 billion has increased to VND49 billion. The project is under investment incentive in terms of loans, so the procedures are required to take time to ensure specific requirements. Previously, the investment capital was low due to low construction material. Now, the cost has gone up and additional procedures on connection with an access to the coach station are required to cost about VND3 billion, resulting in a high increase in investment capital.
The new location of Van Ninh Coach Station is quite convenient. It is close to the National Road 1, facilitating travel of locals and businesses. The ground leveling has been completed and the progress is being accelerated for the project to be completed and put into use by the end of this year, says Nguyen Ly Minh Quan.
