Khanh Hoa Rehabilitation Education Center for Disabled Children held a meeting on April 18 to mark the Vietnamese Day of Persons with Disabilities (April 18, 1980-2016).
Teachers, staff and children of the center reviewed the tradition, purpose and meaning of the Vietnamese Day of Persons with Disabilities; and enjoyed musical and magic performances by disabled pupils. On this occasion, 150 pupils were offered gifts from benefactors, teachers and other staff of the center.
The center is providing care and education for 150 children with disabilities; early intervention for 40 with behavioral disorders; delay in speech and language development and autism; and physical therapy for 30 with mobility difficulties. 80% of children met skill training requirement in the first semester of 2018-2019 school year.
