Le Van Hoa, Chairman of Khanh Hoa Red Cross says under the policy of the Secretariat of the Central Committee of the Communist Party, in 2018, May was designated as Humanitarian Month implemented in some cities and provinces nationwide.
The total value of the mobilization in the Humanitarian Month 2018 was more than VND244 billion, assisting 626,000 people in need. In 2019, Humanitarian Month continues to be expanded throughout the nation.
The event is designed to promote good deeds among the public and enhance authorities’ awareness of humanitarian activities committed to confirming Vietnam's responsibility and determination in implementing the Millennium Development Goals.
