Nha Trang City Red Cross held a ceremony on June 12 to honor excellent blood donors 2019. At the event, more than 100 outstanding blood donors shared experience in the blood donation campaign in Nha Trang City as benefits of blood donation.
For several years, Nha Trang City has remained its taking the lead in the blood donation campaign in Khanh Hoa. Since 2003, nearly 18,000 units of blood have been donated with blood donors covering 1.19% of the local population. Nha Trang City has more 550 volunteers available for blood donation for emergency use.
At the conference, 2 individuals and 29 groups with great contribution to the blood donation campaign were honored and granted certificates of merit by Nha Trang City People’s Committee and Red Cross.
