Crew of Japanese Maritime Self-Defense Force helicopter carrier Izumo and destroyer Murasame joined a clean-up effort on Nha Trang Beach with Youth Union members and young people of local departments; Nha Trang Bay Management Board and Cleanup World volunteers during the visit to Khanh Hoa Province on June 15.
3km of beach from Khanh Hoa University to Chong Rock was tidied up in the morning. This was one of Japanese crew’s community activities during their visit to Khanh Hoa on June 14-16, contributing to promoting the understanding and appreciation between the people of the two nations, and strengthening the friendly relationship and cooperation between Vietnam and Japan in general and Khanh Hoa and Japanese partners in particular.
