Khanh Hoa Red Cross in cooperation with Vingroup’s Kind Heart Foundation and Khanh Hoa Salanganes’ Nest Company has just provided free medical check-up and medications for the disadvantaged in Son Tan Commune, Cam Lam District, Khanh Hoa Province. Besides, 300 gifts containing necessities and first aid kits were given to the needy. The activity was worth VND60 million in total.
Earlier, the 3 organizations had jointly offered gifts to 400 residents in Phuoc Long Ward, Nha Trang City and 300 others in Khanh Son District; provided medical check-up and medications free of charge for 500 elders in Ninh Hoa Town; nearly 200 residents in Lien Sang Commune, Khanh Vinh District; and 600 residents in Van Ninh District. The charity trip was worth nearly VND850 million in total.
The charity activities were in response to the Humanitarian Campaign 2019 launched by the Central Red Cross.
