Khanh Hoa Open Nutrition Scientific Conference 2019 themed “Reasonable nutrition and treatment efficiency” took place at Khanh Hoa General Hospital on August 23 with the attendance of nearly 250 professionals and doctors in the field of clinical nutrition nationwide.
Some 10 scientific presentations were made at the event, focusing on effectiveness of oral nutritional interventions for cancer patients, nutritional boost for hospitalized patients, treatment based on nutrition, clinical nutrition from theory to practice.

Besides, the representatives also discussed Southeast Asian experts' latest approval about the clinical theory and practice in Vietnam. The event provided an opportunity for medical staff in Khanh Hoa Province in particular and in Vietnam in general to sharpen their professional knowledge and skills and exchange knowledge about nutrition in treatment and scientific research.
On this occasion, Khanh Hoa People’s Committee granted a certificate of merit to Luu Ngan Tam, Chairperson of Ho Chi Minh City Society of Clinical Nutrition for her outstanding contribution to the nutritional tasks in Khanh Hoa
