On September 19, Khanh Hoa Center for Disease Control held a workshop on students and families getting involved in dengue and Zika prevention and control 2019 with the attendance of more than 50 medical and educational representatives in Khanh Hoa.
The event included a case report on dengue in Khanh Hoa and a plan to implement a campaign to involve students and their families in dengue and Zika control and guidance to instruct students and their families to kill mosquito larvae at home.
As planed, more than 80,000 students at 104 junior high schools in 6 districts and towns, excluding 2 mountainous districts of Khanh Son and Khanh Vinh, are expected to participate in the activity scheduled to take place from September 26 to October 12.
