Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc has just approved the proposal suggested by the Ministry of Labor, War Invalids & Social Affairs on a 7-day holiday for the upcoming Lunar New Year Festival or Tet 2020.
Accordingly, civil servants will have 7 consecutive days off, from January 23 to January 29, 2020 or from the 29th of the last lunar month to the 5th day of new lunar year 2020. The Prime Minister asked agencies and departments to follow the holiday schedule and make appropriate work arrangement.
