Khanh Hoa Provincial People’s Committee has issued a document on the celebration of activities in response to the 2019 Clean Up the World campaign themed "Local environmental action making a world of difference".
Accordingly, local departments and agencies will hold such activities as hanging up banners and posters in public places; organizing community activities to raise public awareness of environmental protection law, clean-up effort and plastic waste reduction, etc; resolving environmental issues; jointly organizing recycling days to collect and recycle discarded plastic, electronic waste and other pollutants that are hard to biodegrade.
Besides, Volunteer Saturday, Green Sunday, Go Green Day, coastal clean-up days to tidy up and collect waste, plastic bags, etc will continue to inspire and empower locals to clean up, fix up and conserve the environment.
