Van Ninh District: Moving 2,600 workers on aquaculture cages to shelter from storm

In the afternoon of October 29, about 20,000 aquaculture cages in Van Ninh District (Khanh Hoa Khanh Hoa Province) have been moved.

In the afternoon of October 29, about 20,000 aquaculture cages in Van Ninh District (Khanh Hoa Khanh Hoa Province) have been moved.
 
Right after receiving the telegram of the provincial Steering Committee for Disaster Prevention and Rescue to cope with a tropical depression in the East Sea, the district has implemented urgent measures to ensure safety for people and property. Right in the afternoon of October 29, the district’s  leaders directly inspect the preparations for flood and storm prevention on islands.

Leaders of Van Ninh district said that up to now, all cages have been moved into safe areas. On October 30, about 2,600 workers on cages will be relocated safely. Meanwhile, more than 1,600 boats in the district were also informed to move to safe shelters. The localities have actively propagandized so that people can actively cope with floods and storms. Especially, all workers on aquaculture cages are forced to move to safe shelters.
