Nguyen Dac Tai, Permanent Vice-Chairman of Khanh Hoa Provincial People’s Committee received Dante Brandi, Consul General of Italy in Ho Chi Minh City on November 25.
The provincial leader exchanged information about socio-economics in Khanh Hoa, focusing on cooperation in trade and tourism between Italy and Vietnam in general and Khanh Hoa in particular. Khanh Hoa welcomes over 5 million tourist arrivals, including 3 million international ones every year. However, the number of Italian visitors to Khanh Hoa is still moderate.

Nguyen Dac Tai hoped the two partners would have more opportunities to develop tourism through culture and the Consul General would provide a link and support for Italian businesses and organizations to take cooperation and investment opportunities in Khanh Hoa; as well as share Italian tourism development experience in services of mineral mud soaking and a leather sector.
Dante Brandi said the purpose of his working visit to Khanh Hoa was to promote the World Week of Italian Cuisine and expressed the hope that Italy and Khanh Hoa Province would expand cooperation, especially in tourism in the coming time.
