On November 8, Khanh Hoa Department of Education & Training, vocational high schools, colleges and universities in Khanh Hoa announced school closure for Nakri Storm on November 10-11.
Accordingly, schools were requested to continue checking high-risk areas, giving storm response guidelines to protect teaching facilities and materials and assure school staff and students’ safety. Steering Boards for Natural Disaster Prevention & Control were asked to take up 24/24-hour duty and make frequent reports about the storm response to Khanh Hoa Department of Education & Training. Emergency evacuation or class cancellation plans were required based on specific circumstances.

Schools were required to urgently repair damages and open extra days to make up for missed classes (if any) during closures for the storm; pay visits and give comfort to families of school staff and students affected by the storm.
