34 non-governmental organizations have been licensed to operate in Khanh Hoa Province, according to report by Khanh Hoa Department of Foreign Affairs. They include 14 from the U.S.A, 9 from France; 3 from Switzerland; 2 from Australia, Holland and England; 1 from Canada, Denmark; and 4 international organizations, namely United Nations Global Fund, HIV/AIDS Global Fund, World Health Organization (WHO) and World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF).
In the 2017 – 2019 period, the total aid from above organizations has reached more than USD3.5 million with 94 project and non-project grants, focusing in health care, natural disaster relief and urgent assistance in disadvantaged communities, including Khanh Son, Khanh Vinh, Cam Lam, Van Ninh, etc.
