Visit Vietnam Year 2019 ended with a spectacular closing ceremony at 2-4 Square, Nha Trang City, Khanh Hoa on December 28. Present at the event were Nguyen Khac Dinh, Central Party Committee Member, Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee Secretary; Le Quang Tung, Alternate Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism; Nguyen Dac Tai, Standing Vice-Chairman of Khanh Hoa Provincial People’s Committee; Le Huu Hoang, Vice Chairman of Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee; Nguyen Trung Khanh, Chairman of the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism; leaders of the provinces of Ninh Binh and Quang Ngai, etc.
With more than 100 events, the Visit Vietnam Year under the theme “Nha Trang – Colour of the Sea” has been successfully organized, contributing to promoting the cultural values and tourism potentials and resources in Vietnam. The Visit Vietnam Year 2019 has helped to boost the development of tourism in particular and socio-economics in Khanh Hoa in general, confirming the tourism trademark of Nha Trang – Khanh Hoa as an attractive destination at home and abroad. Ninh Binh Province will host the Visit Vietnam Year 2020.

“Khanh Hoa Province and other localities are required to continue making full use of their advantages and potentials to develop tourism sustainably and contributing to local economic growth; focusing on calling for investment and strengthening cooperation to maintain the tourism growth rate," says Le Quang Tung, Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports, and Tourism. He also requested the Ministry of Culture, Sports & Tourism to keep on providing support for localities to boost tourism promotion, diversification of tourism products, etc.
The Visit Vietnam Year 2020 will be hosted by Ninh Binh Province.
