“My home is usually decorated with many kinds of orchid, along with chrysanthemum and kumquat during the New Year holiday. It is easy to get beautiful flower pots if we buy early,” says Phan Viet Hoang (Tan Lap Ward).

Daisy costs VND1.3 million-VND500,000/pot; and Chrysanthemum morifolium VND300 – 320,000/ large pot, VND200,000/ medium pot, VND150,000/ small pot. Peach blossoms are sold at VND1.1-1.5 million/pot. French roses, buoyant and Celosia cristata, Gerbera flower, poinsettia cost VND100,000 – 300,000/pot.
Remarkably, colorful beautifully elegant Chrysanthemum leucanthemum planted in Da Lat is seen on the corner of To Hien Thanh Street. A seller named Son in Phuoc Tan Ward says last year, this kind of flower sold well so this year he has brought here nearly 500 pots priced at VND200,000 - 600,000 each. He sold more than 100 pots only for the first 2 days. A resident named Nhi Na in Tan Lap Ward says her family usually buys a large vase of orchid, daisy and tulip. This year, she has chosen Chrysanthemum leucanthemum as it looks so lovely and elegant.
Flower gardens and sellers have begun to spend nights outside with their Tet flowers. Hopefully, they will have a good Tet flower business this year.
