Khanh Hoa Traffic Police Division held a railway safety awareness session for nearly 1,000 children at Cam Tan Junior School, Cam Tan District on January 6.
The event provided traffic safety education related to railway rules, safety, rights and responsibilities in rail corridor protection. The children were also instructed how to keep safe at rail crossings and be aware of risks to avoid danger. Besides, they competed in a railway safety law knowledge contest. Leaflets were handed out to all teachers and pupils.

The propaganda sought to raise pupils’ awareness of railway safety law and provide essential traffic safety skills in a bid to improve road safety and reduce accidents. On this occassion, Khanh Hoa Traffic Police Division offered 12 gifts to excellent teachers at district-level and disadvantaged ones.
