According to Pharmacist Nguyen Duc Binh, CEO of Lien Son Nha Trang Pharmacy Joint Stock Company, after a project on Lien Son Medicinal Herbal Farm was approved by Khanh Hoa People’s Committee, the company has planted many rare medicinal herbs, namely Female ginseng, Senna alata, Dioscorea hamiltonii, etc. covering dozens of hectares. Besides, the company has built an apartment block, 200m2, for workers.
According to the approved project, Khanh Hoa People’s Committee has allowed transferring a 82.65ha land managed by Tram Huong Forestry Company to Lien Son Medicinal Herbal Farm in Khanh Hiep Commune, Khanh Vinh District. The total initial capital is more than VND17 billion. The project is to develop medicinal herbs and preserve approximately 100 kinds of rare ones in accordance with the recommendations of the WHO; gradually transfer the techniques of medicinal herb cultivation to locals in Khanh Vinh District and neighboring areas, contributing to promoting local economic growth.
