Youth Union in Khanh Hoa has taken various measures to join the battle against COVID-19 outbreak.
 
In the talk in commemoration of the 89th foundation anniversary of Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union and a closing conference for the Youth Month of Khanh Vinh District Youth Union with the participation of 9 members of the Standing District Youth Union and representatives of 24 Youth Union affiliations attending the meeting online. All ideas and suggestions were given online.
 
Cao Thi Ngoc Thanh, Secretary of Khanh Vinh District Youth Union says, all meetings and talks are required to be held online via social network to avoid large gatherings amid the COVID-19. The district Youth Union has also asked its affiliations to give public health recommendations, including staying at home and avoiding crowds during this period.

The Youth Union of Nha Trang College of Technology has just created 3 automatic hand sanitizer dispensers assembled by lecturers, using motors, sensors, etc. Huynh Chi Tuyet, Secretary of the university says the Youth Union cadres of the college have applied the knowledge from lessons in creating automatic hand sanitizer dispensers at the production cost of VND800,000 each. The touchless automatic hand sanitizer dispensers are installed around the college for use to help curb the spread of the virus if any as well as minimize cross contamination. If there is more funding, the college will make more products for other units.
 
Many other Youth Union affiliations have also organized activities to join the fight against the pandemic. Khanh Hoa Youth Union branch has installed automatic hand sanitizer dispensers at its office for use; The Communist Youth Union of Khanh Hoa Provincial agencies has mobilized essential items for medical facilities to cope with the disease.
 
Bui Hoai Nam, Secretary of Khanh Hoa Youth Union, Chairman of Khanh Hoa Youth Federation says on March 26, Khanh Hoa Youth Federation launched an online contest on youth skills for ages from 15 to 35. Participants are required to send photos and videos of social youth skills such as communication and signals, tracking, knot tying, etc; social practice skills on presentation, scientific models, foreign languages and informatics and so on.
 
The contest lasts until October 15, committed to providing the Youth Union members and young people opportunities to widen their knowledge and improve their skills as well as giving recommendation for restrictions on going outdoors as well as avoiding large gatherings.
 
Khanh Hoa Youth Union has just issued an urgent dispatch sent to its affiliations on directing health declaration on NCOVI app among Youth Union members, young people and locals; and young volunteers’ keeping informed of the health of vulnerable old people for timely support.
 
During the peak period of the pandemic control, Khanh Hoa Youth Union has directed its affiliations to continue promoting the application of advanced technology in having solutions to effectively curb the spread of the disease.
