19th Ninh Hoa Town Communist Party Congress officially opens

The 19th Ninh Hoa Town Communist Party Congress, 2020 - 2025 term, officially opened on August 21. Present at the event were Nguyen Khac Toan, Alternate Member of the Party Central Committee, Permanent Vice-Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee; Nguyen Tan Tuan, Vice-Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Ha Quoc Tri, Vice-Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; and more than 299 delegates representing 5,740 Party members.

 

In the term 2015 - 2020, the town Communist Party Committee took leadership and fulfilled economic development targets set in the Resolution of the 18th Town Communist Party Congress. The production value of industry and construction increased by an average of 13.23% annually; service, tourism and trade up by 14.72%; and agriculture, forestry and fisheries up by 4.21%. The social investment capital in 5 years reached VND33,792 billion, up by 24% / year. Budget balance revenue rose by 21%/ year on average. Investment in Ninh Thuy Industrial Park and BOT Van Phong 1 Thermal Power Plant project reached USD2.58 billion. The total investment in the construction of infrastructure in 5 years was nearly VND14,167 billion. During the term, 1,041 new Party members were admitted, bringing the total number of Party members to 5,740. 

 

 

 

 

In the 2020-2025 term, the town Party Committee focuses its leadership on promoting the economic growth, and determines to continue developing the town into a dynamic economic region in the north of the province; effectively implement socio-economic development resolutions and programs; soon complete criteria for a type IV urban area, strive to basically achieve type III urban criteria; improve the quality of cadres at all levels; raise leadership capacity and strength of the Party organization; and strengthen the political system.

 

The Congress elected the Executive Committee of the town Communist Party, 2020 - 2025 term, with 41 members.  Tong Tran continued to be voted the town Party Committee Secretary.
