Nha Trang Housing & Urban Development Joint Stock Company (HUD) held an inauguration ceremony and attached a signboard of the construction 2 of the Social Housing Project 01 in Phuoc Long new urban area, Phuoc Long Ward, Nha Trang City on August 16 in honor of the 18th Provincial Communist Party Congress, term 2020 - 2025.
Present at the event were Pham Hong Ha, Central Party Committee Member, Minister of Construction; Nguyen Khac Dinh, Central Party Committee Member, Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee Secretary; Nguyen Tan Tuan, Vice-Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; and Ha Quoc Tri, Vice- Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee.
4 months ahead of schedule
The social housing project 01 is an important element project in the general new urban area Phuoc Long invested by HUD Nha Trang. The project construction started in February 2017 and completed 4 months ahead of schedule. This is a complex of three 10-storey apartment blocks with 700 apartments that have been handed over to their owners.
According to the Department of Construction, the project includes a playground for children, sports area, green space and well-designed rooms where inhabitants enjoy modern and synchronous technical and social infrastructures and other conveniences in Phuoc Long New Urban Area. This is really an ideal place for low-income people and social policy beneficiaries in Nha Trang City. The construction of the Social Housing Project 01 was selected by the Provincial Party Committee to mark the 18th Provincial Party Congress, term 2020 - 2025.
According to HUD leader, HUD Nha Trang will also construct the Social Housing Area 02 in Phuoc Long New Urban Area. The project is a 12-storey apartment building, nearly 24,000m2 in total, with 260 apartments for beneficiaries of housing policies in Nha Trang City.

Speaking at the ceremony, Nguyen Tan Tuan said the inauguration of 700 apartments and attachment of the signboard of the Social Housing Project 01 are an important event of great political, social and human significance to mark the 18th Provincial Party Congress, term 2020 - 2025.
According to the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Nha Trang City has great potentials to develop many industries, including tourism and service, driving an increase in the demand for urban development and accommodation of the people in the province. Provincial Party Committee and Provincial People's Committee have paid much attention to provincial housing and urban development programs, directed and built mechanisms and policies to attract resources and investors who are experienced and competent in the field of urban and housing development. HUD has researched and implemented many projects in the province such as Phuoc Long New Urban Area, An Binh Apartment Area, HUD Building Nha Trang, Nha Trang Seapark, etc. With synchronous investment, the company has helped construct urban and housing areas with modern architectural landscape, meeting the socio-economic development of the city, housing needs of locals, painting a brighter picture of the city, contributing greatly to the provincial budget.
In the Provincial Housing and Urban Development Program till 2020, vision till 2030, the mobilization of resources, especially from competent and experienced enterprises is required to meet goals in housing and urban development. In the coming time, along with continuing social housing projects in Phuoc Long New Urban Area, HUD and HUD Nha Trang need to promote achieved results with much experience and competence in carrying out tasks assigned by the Provincial People's Committee, contributing to the development of the province, Nguyen Tan Tuan emphasized.
