Khanh Hoa Department of Education & Training held a meeting on November 18 to mark the Vietnamese Teachers’ Day (November 20). Present at the event were Nguyen Tan Tuan, Vice-Secretary of Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; and Ha Quoc Tri, Vice-Secretary of Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee.
The high school graduation rate in 2020 reached 97.5%, up by 4.6% compared with the year 2019 with 94.4%, getting 15 scores or higher (3 subjects) for the university entrance, up by 9.4%. 26 students won the national excellent student contest 2019-2020. The teaching and learning conditions improved in remote and island areas.

Nguyen Tan Tuan appreciated the effort and achievements in education and requested for further promotion of management and teaching staff at all levels; focus on political and ethical education; improvement in teaching staff’s living standards, etc.
On this occasion, the Ministry of Education & Training awarded commemorative medals “For the cause of education” to 6 individuals; and certificates of merit to 5 groups and 12 individuals for their achievements in the campaign for innovation and creativity in teaching and learning in the school year 2019-2020.
