100 medical staff of Khanh Hoa Center for Disease Control were vaccinated against Covid-19 on April 20.
All the medical staff completed health declaration and received health screening and consultancy before getting vaccinated. They were asked to remain at the vaccination site for 30 minutes afterwards to be observed for any immediate reactions.
All the people receiving vaccines have been in normal health conditions so far. More than 1,000 medical staff of health care centers and facilities without vaccination sites are expected to be given vaccines from now to the end of this month.

On the same say, 100 medical staff of Dien Khanh District Medical Center were vaccinated. Reportedly, more than 8,000 people are expected to be given AstraZeneca Covid-19 vaccines in the second vaccination drive. They include medical staff in public and private healthcare facilities and pandemic control and prevention forces. The vaccination drive is scheduled from now to the end of May.
To ensure safety, 38 vaccination sites are placed mostly at hospitals and general clinics; and 36 traveling ambulance teams have been set up. Earlier, 105 medical staff of Khanh Hoa Hospital of Tropical Diseases had received Covid-19 vaccines in the first drive.
