Nearly 22,620 people have been vaccinated against Covid-19 in the third vaccination phase, reported Khanh Hoa Center for Disease Control on June 20.
They included more than 22,530 receiving the first shot and the others getting the second one of AstraZeneca vaccine. The priority groups include medical staff at the public and private health care facilities, commune-level pandemic control steering board members, community-based anti-Covid-19 group members, journalists, essential service workers; teachers and those working at education and training facilities, those who work at State agencies and have regular contact with many others; police and military forces.
The vaccination has taken place at 50 vaccination sites at medical centers, general hospitals and clinics since June 4. No case of severe allergic reactions has been reported. Nearly 400 people accounting for 20% have experienced normal mild reactions. They are all in normal health condition. Earlier, 2 vaccination phases took place in March and May with 9,250 shots given in Khanh Hoa Province.
