Khanh Hoa Department of Transport has sent a document to transport businesses and coach stations, announcing temporary suspension on road transport services from Khanh Hoa to Binh Thuan, Tay Ninh and vice versa.
Specifically, road transport services on fixed routes, by chartered cars, tour buses and taxis from and to the destinations are suspended from June 26 until further notice. Exceptions include special cases for public affairs, vehicles carrying patients, food, foodstuff, production materials and other necessities; and vehicles for pandemic control.
Road transport vehicles running through Binh Thuan and Tay Ninh must not stop for passenger pick-up or drop-off. All vehicles are required to comply with Covid-19 prevention and control guidelines.

Regarding transport service to other cities and provinces, transport businesses are required to reduce operation frequency and vehicles; maintain seat distancing and comply with the Ministry of Health’s “5K” guidelines and recommendations and other pandemic prevention and control regulations. Before departure, drivers are instructed to collect such information as names, residence, destinations and phone numbers of travelers from epidemic areas and report to the Department of Transport when required.
