Khanh Hoa Department of Transport has issued an announcement of temporary suspension on road transport services on fixed routes, by chartered cars, tour buses and taxis from Khanh Hoa to the cities and provinces of Ho Chi Minh City, Binh Duong, Binh Phuoc, Tay Ninh, Da Nang City, Binh Thuan, Phu Yen, Binh Dinh, Quang Ngai, Thua Thien- Hue and most recently Lam Dong and Ba Ria-Vung Tau and vice versa continue to be suspended from June 29 until further notice. Exceptions include special cases for public affairs and for pandemic control; vehicles carrying patients, food, foodstuff, production materials and other necessities.
Road transport vehicles running through Binh Duong, Phu Yen and Binh Dinh must not stop for passenger pick-up or drop-off. All vehicles are required to comply with Covid-19 prevention and control regulations.
Vehicles from and to other cities and provinces are allowed to operate normally but at only half capacity or no more than 20 people/vehicle (including the driver and assistant) to increase safety for passengers amid the outbreak.
