40 new cases positive for SARS-CoV-2 were detected in Ninh Hoa Town, Khanh Hoa Province from 8am to 4pm on July 6, according to Khanh Hoa Center for Disease Control. 72 F1 and 177 F2 have been identified. The cases are related to patient No.17725, who had arrived at Hon Ro Fishing Port, Nha Trang City and patient No.19082 in Van Gia, Van Ninh District.
Positive cases have reported in 15/27 communes and wards in Ninh Hoa Town, mostly in Ninh Thuy Ward (13 cases) followed by Ninh Hiep (5), Ninh Da (5), Ninh Xuan (5), etc.
Ninh Hoa Town Steering Committee for Human Disease Prevention and Control has tracked and identified the infection sources and implemented drastic measures to curb the outbreak, including disinfection, contact tracing, centralized quarantine for F1 and home quarantine for F2 individuals.
