Khanh Hoa Provincial People’s Committee has directed the local medical sector to take samples from retailers and laborers at markets in Nha Trang City to test for the Covid-19 after a case confirmed related to Hon Ro Fishing Port, according to the leader of Nha Trang City People’s Committee on July 4.
The Provincial People's Committee assigned the Department of Health to conduct large-scale testing as soon as possible, prioritizing high-risk groups which include retailers and laborers at all markets in Nha Trang City and residents in areas with Covid-19 cases in the wards of Vinh Phuoc, Vinh Truong, Phuoc Dong Commune, Nha Trang City, industrial zones and industrial clusters.

21 cases of Covid-19 reported in Khanh Hoa since June 23 include 17 cases related to a 37-year-old patient No. 17725 (Phu Lac Village, Hoa Hiep Nam Ward, Dong Hoa Town, Phu Yen Province), who arrived at Hon Ro Fishing Port to buy fish on June 18-26.
