Khanh Hoa Department of Transport issued an announcement on July 5 on temporary suspension on interprovincial transport service from Khanh Hoa Province to other centrally governed cities and provinces and vice versa from July 6, except for special cases, including public affairs, transportation of patients, food, foodstuff, production materials and other necessities; and pandemic control procedures.
Regarding provincial transport service on fixed routes, buses are required to operate at only half capacity with no more than 20 people/vehicle and maintain seat distancing. All passengers must wear face masks and complete medical declaration.
Vehicles transporting officials, employees, experts and vehicles getting into and out of factories and industrial zones are to follow the Ministry of Health’s instructions and Ministry of Transport, operating at only half capacity with no more than 20 people/vehicle with no more than 20 people/vehicle. The vehicles must be disinfected. Water vessels are also instructed to operate at only half capacity with no more than 20 people/vehicle.
Transport businesses must take responsibility for compliance to pandemic prevention and control regulations, collect and report passengers’ information to authorities when required.
