43 new cases positive for SARS-CoV-2 were recorded in Khanh Hoa Province from 4pm on July 17 to 7am today (July 18), according to Khanh Hoa Center for Disease Control. The new cases include 39 in Ninh Hoa Town and 4 in Nha Trang City. 28 of these are in locked-down and quarantine areas in the community; 3 home-quarantined, 1 in in the community and 11 are being investigated.
573 cases positive for SARS-CoV-2 have been reported in Khanh Hoa since June 23. Infections have been detected in 6/9 districts and towns, including Ninh Hoa Town with the most cases (398), followed by Nha Trang City (144), Van Ninh District (13), Cam Lam District (12), Dien Khanh District (3) and Cam Ranh City (3).
3,547 F1 and 9,350 F2 have been traced. 123,259 samples have been taken for RT-PCR testing and 74,888 others for antigen-detecting rapid diagnostic testing in Khanh Hoa Province. 130 areas related to the positive cases have been temporarily blockaded.
