44 new cases positive for SARS-CoV-2 were detected in Khanh Hoa Province from 4pm on July 17 to 7am on July 19, according to Khanh Hoa Center for Disease Control. The new cases include 31 in Ninh Hoa Town and 8 in Nha Trang City and 5 in Van Ninh. 24 of these are in locked-down and quarantine areas and 20 in in the community.
621 cases positive for SARS-CoV-2 have been reported in Khanh Hoa since June 23. Infections have been detected in 6/9 districts and towns, including Ninh Hoa Town with the most cases (433), followed by Nha Trang City (152), Van Ninh District (18), Cam Lam District (12), Dien Khanh District (3) and Cam Ranh City (3).
3,630 F1 and 9,556 F2 have been traced. 154,021 samples have been taken for RT-PCR testing and 103,276 others for antigen-detecting rapid diagnostic testing in Khanh Hoa Province. 135 areas related to positive cases have been temporarily blockaded.
