Khanh Hoa Newspaper and VegaCity Joint Stock Company paid a visit and offered rice and other gifts to residents in Suoi Cat, Khanh Hoa Province on July 24.
At the Commune People’s Committee, the leaders of Khanh Hoa Newspaper handed 100 gifts, including rice and necessaries worth VND200,000 each, over to residents in locked-down areas in Khanh Thanh Bac Village.
Tran Duy Hung, Editor-in-Chief of Khanh Hoa Newspaper said Khanh Hoa Newspaper had received donation for the gifts from some readers, including VND10 million from an unnamed reader; VND5 million from Lan Anh, Co Loa Street, Nha Trang City; and VND2 million from Tran Hoang Anh on Nguyen Thien Thuat Street.

VegaCity Joint Stock Company also offered 1 ton of rice totaling VND15 million to 100 poor families in Suoi Cat Commune. Reportedly, VegaCity will continue cooperating with Khanh Hoa Newspaper to offer 4 tons of rice to some communes and wards in Nha Trang City next week.
