Dinh Van Thieu, Vice-Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Head of the Provincial Steering Committee for Disease Prevention and Control signed a decision on July 7 to set up 2 more makeshift hospitals for Covid-19 patients at the Dermatology Hospital (Nguyen Khuyen, Vinh Hai Ward, Nha Trang City) and Khanh Hoa Tuberculosis Lung Diseases Hospital (Nui San, Dong De, Vinh Hai Ward, Nha Trang City).
The 2 hospitals have 200 patient beds (100 beds/ hospital) are used for Covid-19 isolation, care and treatment. Besides the workforce and equipment available at the two hospitals, the makeshift hospitals are equipped with facilities and staff mobilized from other agencies by the Department of Health.
