Dinh Van Thieu, Vice-Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee signed a decision on July 6 to set up a makeshift hospital for Covid-19 patients at Khanh Hoa Hospital of Tropical Diseases in Dien An Commune, Dien Khanh District.
Besides the workforce and equipment available, the 100-bed makeshift hospital receives medical equipment and staff mobilized from other agencies by the Department of Health. The hospital is used for the isolation, care and treatment of Covid-19 patients.
72 Covid-19 cases have been reported in Khanh Hoa Province so far with most cases being in Nha Trang City and Ninh Hoa Town.
