On August 5, Khanh Hoa Provincial People’s Committee issued an urgent telegram on the implementation of Covid-19 control and prevention measures in Khanh Hoa Province in the new situation. 
 
Accordingly, Khanh Hoa Province will impose social distance restrictions under the Prime Minister’s Directive 16/CT-TTg throughout the province for 14 days starting from August 6, 2021 amid the emergence of new Covid-19 cases.

The Provincial People’s Committee requested residents to continue adhering to Covid-19 regulations and the Ministry of Health’s “5K” guidelines; remain home and only go out if really necessary; encourage their family members and relatives to stay where they are in an attempt to keep themselves, families and the community safe from the disease.
 
Business and production facilities must comply with Covid-19 prevention and control regulations to safeguard workers against exposure to Covid-19 infection; and implement self-contained procedures to maintain stable operation and production.
 
The provincial authority will tighten the social distancing measures, boost inspection and accelerate contact tracing, quarantine and testing to promptly isolate F0 from the community. 
 
People’s Committees at district levels are responsible for the implementation of the social distance measures in their localities; develop plans to assure social order and security, environmental satiation, health care, price stabilization, food safety, provision of necessities for those in lockdown, immediate assistance in urgent situations, etc.
